We’re looking for a strategic and conceptual marketing leader to shape how Amadeus tells its story — through distinctive campaigns, compelling content, and seamless creative execution, powered by human imagination and intelligent innovation.

As part of Central Marketing, you will lead the Creative, Content & Campaign function — responsible for the strategic development, orchestration, and delivery of global campaigns that drive brand preference and business growth. This team combines creativity, content, and operational excellence to ensure Amadeus marketing is relevant, impactful, and consistently world-class.

You’ll collaborate closely with Vertical Marketing Managers and Field Marketing teams to translate business priorities and customer insights into fully integrated, insight-led campaigns that showcase the Amadeus platform and solutions. You will also play a pivotal role in shaping how AI and emerging technologies redefine the way Amadeus creates, delivers, and measures marketing — enabling new levels of relevance, intelligence, and creative possibility.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy & Delivery

  • Translate business and marketing strategies, along with vertical value propositions, into compelling campaign concepts and creative platforms.
  • Collaborate with Vertical Marketing Managers to build on defined propositions — shaping the positioning, narrative, and creative expression that bring them to life.
  • Lead the creative and campaign development process end-to-end: from concept and planning through to delivery, performance, and continuous enhancement.
  • Design campaigns from the AI-up — using intelligence, predictive insight, and automation to make campaigns more relevant, adaptive, and effective.
  • Oversee orchestration across channels (digital, social, experiential, and owned), ensuring cohesive storytelling and connected execution.
  • Develop AI-informed campaign frameworks that generate dynamic, data-led guidance and assets for Field Marketing — enabling activation that is intelligent, adaptive, and context-specific rather than static or toolkit-based.

Creative & Content Leadership

  • Define the creative vision for campaigns, ensuring they express the Amadeus brand with clarity, distinction, and emotional resonance.
  • Lead the in-house creative and content team in the development of campaign concepts, design systems, and narratives that engage diverse audiences across the travel ecosystem.
  • Champion a culture of intelligent creativity — using innovation and emerging technologies strategically to unlock new creative possibilities and deepen customer relevance.
  • Ensure every campaign embodies the Amadeus purpose and maintains brand integrity while adapting to customer context and channel behaviour.

Operational Excellence & Team Leadership

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of designers, writers, content producers, and campaign specialists, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Define and continuously refine the operating model for creative, content, and campaign delivery — ensuring efficient intake, prioritization, and execution.
  • Build and manage relationships with external partners and agencies to extend capacity and capability as needed.

Innovation & Future Thinking

  • Drive a forward-looking creative and campaign agenda that anticipates audience expectations, technological change, and market opportunity.
  • Shape how Amadeus uses innovation — particularly AI — to transform how campaigns are conceived, created, and delivered.
  • Act as a connector across Central and Field Marketing, ensuring campaigns are globally aligned yet locally powerful.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 15+ years’ experience in marketing, creative, and campaign leadership within a global organization — in B2B, technology, or travel sectors.
  • Proven success leading the end-to-end development and delivery of integrated, digital-first campaigns that drive measurable business impact.
  • Experience managing or evolving in-house creative and campaign teams serving multiple business units or markets.
  • Strong understanding of campaign strategy, creative operations, and the strategic role of AI and digital innovation.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to influence and inspire across all levels of the organization.
  • Visionary thinker with a passion for human creativity, customer relevance, and intelligent innovation.
