The Team:
The Analytical Finance Team is a global team with members based in APAC, EMEA and U.S, providing finance business partnering and decision support to the leadership team of Global Ratings Services (GRS). In addition to the business support, core financial planning and analysis activities (such as monthly close, budgeting and forecasting) the team plays a key role in supporting Ratings’ strategic initiatives. It also provides financial oversight to the Ratings activities in EMEA.

This role requires a dynamic finance leader to manage a variety of financial responsibilities and provide strategic support to key stakeholders. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills to drive global initiatives effectively.

Responsibilities:

Support projects and initiatives within GRS, including process efficiencies, identifying cost-saving opportunities and developing strategies to enhance operational efficiency.

Provide decision support to members of GRS leadership team.

Perform financial modelling and analysis to evaluate investment opportunities within GRS, track progress on key initiatives, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.

Assume ownership of the partnership with CRISIL GAC (Global Analytical Centre) representing Analytical portion of the GAC, to deliver financial insights, support strategic initiatives and improve analytical efficiency.

Coordinate financial matters related to regulation and governance within the EMEA region, partnering with EMEA Compliance, Legal, and other stakeholders. In addition, providing financial support to EMEA office heads.
What We are Looking For:

Ability to build effective working relationships and communicate at all levels within the organization.

Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of driving results.

Strong business acumen and ability to contribute to strategic initiatives.

Experience with external reporting and regulatory compliance.

Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.

Independent, highly motivated and strategic in decision-making.

Attention to detail while managing the bigger picture.

10+ years’ of experience as financial planning analyst in the finance/accounting industry, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience partnering with senior leadership.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage effectively across teams
-
Proficient in analytic tools (i.e.: Tableau or Power BI, Alteryx, Anaplan, etc).

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

Hold a degree or professional qualification in accounting recognized by a professional body (e.g. CIMA, ACCA etc.).

Hybrid work – 2 days a week from our London office.
