Job Overview: As an Associate Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering designs for Data Centres and Mission Critical projects. Collaborate with a team to provide top-notch services to clients, drive business growth, and ensure project success.
Responsibilities:
* Focus on Data Centre and Mission Critical sectors.
* Attend client meetings and convey project briefs within the team.
* Develop strategic project concepts in compliance with regulations.
* Manage project team workload and prioritise tasks.
* Ensure excellence in project delivery.
* Lead internal project team meetings.
* Mentor team members for professional growth.
* Monitor project finances and resources.
* Encourage innovation and uphold industry standards.
Requirements:
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or Building Services Engineering or equivalent qualification.
* Industry-recognized membership such as CIBSE / IMECHE / ASHRAE / Uptime Institute.
* Proficiency in Data Centre and Mission Critical projects
* Proficient in Revit and BIM is desirable for this role.
* Strong technical knowledge in building services engineering
* Experience in multidisciplinary environments and leading junior engineers
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Understanding of complementary specialisms such as acoustics, fire engineering and computer modelling in the design of buildings.
