Role: Associate – Credit Risk Management
Location: Amsterdam, The NetherlandsA leading purpose investment management firm is seeking an Associate Credit Risk Manager to join their dynamic team. This role involves managing counterparty risk, assessing credit proposals, and enhancing credit risk guidelines. The ideal candidate will support our mission to mitigate currency risk in developing countries through innovative financial instruments.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage counterparty risk and understand risk guidelines and portfolio.
• Independently assess credit proposals and reviews from the front office.
• Identify credit risks in new products and structures, recommending solutions.
• Monitor credit risk profile, exposure limits, and collateral management.
• Serve as Secretary for the Credit Risk Committee and improve credit risk processes.
• Participate in financial risk reporting, including market risk, capital, and liquidity management.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit risk management.
• Master’s degree in finance, economics, or business.
• Interest in financial markets and derivatives, with a strong affinity for our mission.
• Proficient in MS Excel and basic Python skills or willingness to learn.
• Fluent in English, with excellent analytical and communication skills.
