This is what #LifeAtBNY is all about.We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Financial Crimes Committee Secretary, Representative to join our Risk & Compliance team. This role is located in Wroclaw, Poland – ONSITE/HYBRID.In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Prioritize and present future topics for committee meetings
  • Schedule committee meetings, preparing meeting agendas and publishing meeting documents
  • Record the meetings as outlined in the Company’s Global Committee Standards Policy
  • Draft Meeting Minutes and distribute to voting members within a defined timeline
  • Communicate, track, and execute all actions to be taken at the direction of the committee
  • Provide guidance to the Business Areas on requirements/standards for presenting special topics to the committee
  • Provide support to the Chair, Committee, Compliance & Ethics personnel, as well as Business Areas
  • Maintain a high quality of tracking mechanisms for topics presented, inclusive of recommended actions by the committee and escalations
  • Prepare and evaluate reports, as requested

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required
  • 1-2 years of experience within a Financial Services, Audit, or Compliance background and/or experience with financial services compliance
  • Effective at prioritizing multiple deliverables simultaneously
  • Fluent with Microsoft Office platforms, specifically Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
  • Effective and comfortable with working with minimal supervision
  • Proactive with coordinating and partnering with internal stakeholders
  • Strong critical thinking, written, and verbal communication skills
