Please note:

  • This role is based inBrasschaat, Belgium (nearby the Dutch border – Breda). We can offer a local Belgian or Dutch contract depending on the country you are living in.

  • We offer a hybrid working model – our office will be your primary workplace (3 days/week) with flexibility to work from home 2 days/week. On a Dutch contract, you can work a max of 2 days/week in the office.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Localize and implement marketing strategies, balancing consumer demand and shopper conversion across ATL and BTL touchpoints in close collaboration with digital, trade and sales teams.

  • Drive selling in of strategies, product portfolio and campaigns towards internal and external partners.

  • Brief our media agency on the Benelux media plan for your audience and brands with a focus onoptimizingyour marketing budget.

  • Manage a portfolio of brands with a sharp focus on business performance,trendsand insights.

  • Being proactive in suggesting potential actions.

  • Collaborate with the Operations team in the S&OP cycle on the business planning and review cycle for the franchise.

  • As the brand manager for LEGO City, LEGO Harry Potter, LEGO Star Wars and other external IP’s, you will also collaborate (together with the Sr Brand Manager) with our IP Partners.

In the Benelux head office inBrasschaat, you will join a team of 6 brand marketers who enjoy end-to-end responsibility for their own LEGO® themes and audiences.

With high market penetration and a position as the strongest toy brand in the region, driving short and long-term sustainable growth is a key challenge, so you will have plenty of opportunities to develop your brand management skills.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Several years of experience working in brand marketing. Open for candidates with commercial Retail, Media or DGTL marketing experience but need to show understanding of marketing campaigns execution across full funnel (both ATL/BTL).

  • Sound knowledge of marketing principles and fundamentals. Experience with digital marketing.

  • Strong analytical skills to distill insights.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize deliverables.

  • Outstanding communication skills both verbally and in writing, and comfortable presenting sophisticated ideas.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with a wide network of partners (both internal and external).

  • Previousexperience within the toy, family, or gaming industry and/or digital/eCommerce is a strong plus but not mandatory.

  • Proficient in English and proficient in either French or Dutch.
