Associate – Accounting in Liège, Belgium

We are looking for part time AP Accountant (60%) to provide support to the financial department in our Liege office. You will manage daily accounting tasks and be part of a team of 6 accountants working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances.

Account payable tasks include receiving and logging invoices, maintaining and updating an accounts payable ledger and generating financial statements and reports. The ideal candidate will have solid understanding of basic accounting and accounts payable principles · Proven ability to calculate, post and manage financial records.

The successful candidate will join Willis Towers Watson for a 1-year contract, as an AP accountant.

Principal Accountabilities

Post and process

• Vendor invoices and match them to the appropriate general ledger account

• Journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded

Bank reconciliation

The Requirements

• Bachelor degree in accountancy;

• Excellent organizing abilities;

• Great attention to detail;

• Good with numbers and figures;

• Team spirit;

• Excellent Excel skills;

• Basic knowledge in English.
