Job Title: Junior Town Planner

Salary: GBP25,000 – GBP30,000, Depending on Experience

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting our well-established client who is looking for a Junior Town Planner to be based out of their Surrey office. This company are known for their large scale residential projects across the UK. They are looking for someone will Town planning experience in the Residential sector.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in managing and delivering a range of planning projects from inception to completion.
* Provide planning advice to clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
* Prepare and submit planning applications, appeals, and representations.
* Conduct site appraisals, research, and analysis to inform planning strategies.
* Liaise with local authorities, community groups, and other stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* A degree in Town Planning or a related field.
* Over 2 years of experience in planning consultancy role, ideally dealing with residential projects.
* Knowledge of the UK planning system, policies, and regulations.
* Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* A proactive approach with a passion for delivering practical and effective planning solutions.
