We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Subject Leader for Religious Education to join our team.Role Overview:We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Subject Leader for Religious Education to support the Subject Leader in driving the vision and strategic direction of the department. The successful candidate will be instrumental in promoting high standards of teaching and learning, ensuring positive educational experience for all students. You will work collaboratively with teaching staff implement innovative practices that inspire students to engage in the subject area.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Subject Leader in developing and implementing an engaging Religious education Curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs and interests of all the students.
  • Support the planning and delivery of high-quality lessons that encourage student engagement and achievement.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, implementing intervention strategies to support those may be underperforming.
  • Lead on specific projects or initiatives within the department to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures, ensuring they reflect best practices and respond to changes in educational legislation.
  • Support the professional development of staff within the Religious Education department, sharing best practices and resources.
  • Liaise with parents, guardians, and the wider community to promote students’ learning and progress in Religious Education.
