My client, a nationalhousing developer is looking to hire an Assistant Site Manager for a traditional build scheme based in St Albans, Hertfordshire consisting of 150+ units, multi-phased scheme, HA
The ideal candidate will have experience of working as an Assistant Site manager within a production team on similar new build traditional build projects. Someone who is keen, driven and wants to build a successful career with a growing business.
Duties,
* No2, Assistant Site Manager reporting in to the Site Manager
* Support with inductions and toolbox talks
* Working in line with company programmes and have a clear understanding of customer care
* Programming
* Ensure sub-contractors and trades staff are working inline with programme and targets
* Ensure any issues that cannot be rectified are brought to the attention of the No’1 on site.
* Organise all trades & Labour and sub-contractors
* NHBC stage inspections
* Snagging/Re-snagging
* Providing clear direction to the on-site construction team regarding responsibilities and targets
* Ensuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme
* Driving through quality at every stage of the construction process
* Health and Safety is followed and adhered to
* Taking responsibility for self-development and the development of others
* Ensuring any remedial work is completed prior to occupation
Qualifications,
* Assistant Site Management experience on traditional build housing schemes
* Experience of working with HA, would be an advantage
* Trade background, whilst being a supervisor would be an advantage
* Willing to take on additional duties and training offered by the company
* CSCS
* First Aid,
