Offer DescriptionIdipAZ seeks a research assistant to participate in an innovative project focused on liquid biopsy and artificial intelligence applied to the analysis of the methylome for the diagnostic characterisation of tumours of the central nervous system (CNS) led by Dr María Isabel Esteban Rodríguez, Area Specialist in Anatomical Pathology and member of the research group experimental therapies and biomarkers in cáncer.Contract co-financed by the Community of Madrid and the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), 2021-2027′.IdiPAZ Health Research Institute is the result of a partnership between “La Paz” University Hospital, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, the Healthcare Public Service of the Madrid Autonomous Region and the Foundation for Biomedical Research of La Paz University Hospital (FIBHULP), which is the managing body of the Institute. This strategic alliance has made it possible to tackle research projects through joint multidisciplinary teams, making the most of the human and material resources available to these entities for research and promoting research fundraising. Our vision is to be a national and international reference for biomedical translational research of excellence, focus on people’s health.The selected person will work in a multidisciplinary environment with experts in molecular biology, bioinformatics, oncology and pathological anatomy.Education and Training Offered:
-Participation in specialised courses in bioinformatics, massive sequencing and machine learning.
-Attendance at seminars and workshops on laboratory techniques and data analysis.
-Presentation of results at scientific conferences/publications.Functions-Analysis of massive DNA sequencing data, arrays and bioinformatics processing for the study of the methyloma.
-Development and training of artificial intelligence models for the classification of CNS tumours.
-Validation of predictive models.
-Preparation of scientific reports and presentation of results.

- Contract for scientific and technical activities.
- Professional category of Higher Graduate or Graduate, Group II, Area 2, or Area 2 Group III, according to the collective bargaining agreement.
- Full time of 37.5 hours per week.
- Gross annual salary: €17.400
- Private matters: 6 working days per year.
- Vacation: 22 working days per year.
- December 24 and 31 are non-business days.
