Assistant Project Officer – Asia Program

Type of contract: Full-time paid internship (necessarily attested by a training agreement or “convention de stage”), 4-5 months;
Location: Paris (8th arrondissement), up to 2 days of remote work per week;
Start date: September 2, 2024

Role and core tasks

Within Institut Montaigne’s Asia Program, the Assistant Project Officer will: 

  • Support the Asia Program in its daily administrative tasks,
  • Participate in the organization of high-level events and international workshops: invitations, logistics, note-taking,
  • Provide support in the editing process of publications and contribute to the research work,
  • Manage the database of contacts,
  • Assist in coordinating the agendas.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Master’s degree program,
  • Interest in Asian issues (politics, economics, international security, digital transformation),
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken),
  • A good command of French is an advantage,
  • Project management and administrative skills (Excel),
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team, capacity to adapt to various work methods.
