About the opportunity
Nuclear Power Programmes are delivering client critical works to some of our major UK and European Projects. Our embedded teams are delivering support to Hinkley Point C (New build power station in the South West), Sizewell C (located in the South East), helping develop technologies in SMR (Small modular Reactor) capability and working towards building Poland’s first Nuclear Power station.
Working in both client facing and internal roles we are delivering major programme and project management capabilities throughout the project lifecycle. We are driving to deliver safe, high quality and to time solutions by thinking innovatively and working collaboratively.
We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager who will be under the management of the NI Project Managers, the provided service is accountable for the daily follow-up of activities in the NI program, with regular project reporting. Key responsibilities will be:

Establishment of the monthly reporting for the NI Programme, which is integrated into the RD reporting

Maintaining a NI tracker list of open points, with regular progress follow-up with client
-
Identification and management of interfaces between NI Programme with the other sequences
-
Monitor delivery and ensure that the project LOD (via Paladin) and project schedule are up to date
-
Organization of the progress meetings with NNB and management of interfaces with NNB on all workstreams

Management of contractual documentation to support the project manager

Examination of NNB requests with the support of business services
Here’s what you’ll need :
-
Degree in engineering, project management or other relevant subject
-
Previous experience of project control including: Cost control, Governance & reporting (project KPIs), Project management, Risk management

Planning/scheduling, Interface with document control and delivery
-
Technical knowledge of civil engineering
-
Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken), ability to manage numerous interfaces, ability to synthesize, pragmatic approach

Good analytical skills and attention to detail
-
Team player with an open mind and a readiness to work on a multi-cultural context and with multiple stakeholders
