PipeCare Group is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to oversee in line inspection projects. By providing technology and service focused solutions to the international arena of the oil and gas industry, the PipeCare Group of companies has been helping the customers ensure the integrity of their pipeline and facility assets for over 20 years.
The general role for Assistant Project Manager includes the assistance to Project Manager in managing the PipeCare operational projects in Europe. PipeCare operational projects involve (but not limited) the mobilization of the resource to the Oil & Gas fields, servicing the Oil & Gas pipelines, arranging field surveys and field verifications, demobilization of equipment upon completion and Reporting. The candidate will assist in lead a project team, producing, executing and controlling the project budget.Key Responsibilities & Authorities

  • Assist Project Manager in running the assigned projects from the moment project is awarded till obtaining the completion certificate of the project and closing it.
  • Ensure the proper distribution and delegation of responsibilities to the field personnel. Ensure staff has all qualifications, certifications, courses, trainings, visa, etc…required for the project execution.
  • Evaluate performance of field engineers and supporting staff.
  • Assist Project Manager in the smooth project handover from the sales department. Review budget estimation once the project is transferred from sales.
  • Assist Project Manager in prepare PQ, project information document, including detailed execution plan with allocation of resources and project risk management plan. Review and adjust project cost estimates when needed.
  • Assist Project Manager in establishing the proper communication line with the corporate project management department in the corporate office and VP of the assigned territory through EMS and regular reporting.
  • Keep updated tools list and inventory list by checking and recording tools condition before and after run and storage place.
  • Assist PM and coordinate field personnel to ensure proper tools storage and maintenance.
  • Assist Project Manager in maintaining overall first tool run success rate at a minimum of 95%.
  • Ensure quality & HSE procedures are applied and followed during project preparation and execution.
  • Communicate daily with field staff to review daily activities and project progress.
  • Achieve the invoicing targets, control the cost efficiency and profitability of the assigned projects as well as to ensure proper follow up on collection.
  • Cooperate with the procurement department to ensure the procurement plan for the services and the materials to be purchased is finalized.
  • Manage logistic task and PO emission base on PM instruction
  • Maintain and update the Project related data in ERP system.
  • Assist PM to coordinate activities between Client, sub-contractors and LIN SCAN departments.
  • Assist PM to Update clients on field operational activities as needed.
  • Assure customer satisfaction with the project execution.
  • Assist Project Manager in reviewing of all reports (preliminary, final, etc…) prior to submission to client.
  • Ensure proper project closing through collection of all documents related to customer feedback about the project, project completion certification, invoices, and collection plan.
  • Prepare different type of technical documents to be submitted to client such as method statement, pigging procedures, dig verification procedures, etc.
  • Execute all other tasks as requested by Project Manager within the assigned job role.

Accountability

  • Assisting Project Manager to complete the Projects at the assigned time and budget.

Requirements
Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or relevant).
  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or relevant) plus 2 years of operation planning experience.
  • Experience in Oil and Gas sector or EPC contracting.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft word, excel and outlook at an intermediate level.
  • Fluency in English and French.
  • Important note: this is the work from home role.
