Offer DescriptionRECTOROF CZESTOCHOWA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGYannounces a competition for the post ofASSISTANT PROFESSOR(RESEARCH AND TEACHING POSITION)AT THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING AND BIOTECHNOLOGYat the Faculty of Infrastructure and EnvironmentCandidates who enter the competition are expected to meet the conditions defined in the Act of 20 July 2018, Law on Higher Education and Science, (Journal of Laws (Dz. U.) of 2023, item 742, as amended), the Statute of Czestochowa University of Technology as well as detailed requirements determined by the selection board of a given unit.Conditions for entering the competition: * Declaration of publishing in the field of engineering and technical sciences in the discipline of Environmental Engineering, Mining and Power Engineering.

• Availability to work full-time at Czestochowa University of Technology until 30 September 2025.
• PhD degree in biological, biotechnological or related sciences.
• Experience in conducting research.
• Academic achievements, confirmed by publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
• Proven active participation in national and international conferences.
• Experience in research implementation (grants or statutory research).
• Teaching experience, especially in the field of biology and biotechnology.
• Scientific independence and very good work management, including the ability to work in an interdisciplinary scientific team.
• A very good command of the English language.
• A very good command of the Polish language (applies to foreigners).

Required documents: * Application for the post of Assistant Professor (research and teaching position) submitted to His Magnificence Rector of Czestochowa University of Technology by the intermediary of the Dean of the Faculty of Infrastructure and Environment.
