Offer DescriptionCompetition for the position of assistant professor in the teaching staff group at the Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering in the Department of Metrology and Information Systems. The applicants should hold the Doctor’s degree in the disciplines i.e. automation, electronics, electrical engineering, space technology and related disciplines.Tasks / role:
– developing and delivering courses in Polish and English for undergraduate and graduate students in the field of metrology
– share in conducting scientific research
– preparation of aids or teaching materials
– participation in the organization of the teaching processRequirements:
– higher education – doctor degree in disciplines such as automation, electronics, electrical engineering, space technologies and related areas
– ability to work as part of a research team
– good knowledge Polish
– good knowledge of English, including oral communication, reading technical literature, and writing technical papers and reports
– experience in teaching in the field of metrologyDocuments:
– employment application addressed to the Vice-Rector for Scientific Research
– CV
– documentary evidence of academic and professional degrees/titles obtained
– a description of the research and teaching achievements
– chronological list of publications
– a statement that the Gdańsk University of Technology will be the principal place of work in case of employment of the candidate
