Offer DescriptionFaculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics, Department of Software Engineering is looking for a person for a position of assistant professor in the research and teaching staff group. Candidates for assistant professor should have a PhD degree Computer Science / Informatics. The employment at the offered position is the full-time work.TASKS/ ROLE
– conducting didactic classes (lectures, exercises, projects, laboratories) in the field of informatics in Polish and English for full-time and part-time studies
– developing didactic materials for selected subjects and contributing to their scope and essentials
– scientific and research activity, in particular in publishing articles in reputable journals
– participarion in international and domestic conferences and in scientific schools
– involvement in research projects conducted at the Faculty of ETI
– organisational work for the Department and FacultyREQUIREMENTS
– PhD degree in the discipline of Informatics or Technical Informatics and Telecommunications
– documented scientific achievements confirmed by publications in journals or at conferences included in the announcement of the Minister of Science and Higher Education on the list of scientific journals and reviewed materials from international conferences, together with the assigned number of points to the discipline of Technical Informatics and Telecommunications
– teamwork skills
– practical knowledge of modern software engineering frameworks
– knowledge of broadly understood software engineering, databases, data warehouses, and data analysis
– good knowledge of English and Polish in speech and writing (including knowledge of technical language)
