Offer DescriptionWe are looking for a candidate for the position of assistant professor in the group of research and teaching staff. A candidate is expected to conduct research confirmed by publications in leading journals, and to conduct teaching classes, in particular in the field of probability theory and stochastic processes.TASKS/ ROLE
-conducting research and teaching in the field of probability theory and stochastic processes
-publishing research results in the international scientific journals
-active participation in obtaining grants at the national and/or international level
-building scientific collaboration
-supervision of master’s studentsREQUIREMENTS
-PhD degree in mathematics
-research profile related to the research conducted at the Institute of Applied Mathematics
-scientific achievements confirmed by publications in reputable scientific journals
-ability to work in a group
-fluent communication in Polish and English
-very good organizational skillsDOCUMENTS

– a copy of the doctoral diploma
– a recommendation letter of at least one independent researcher
