• a PhD degree in the domain of technical sciences, in the discipline of technical computer science and telecommunications (or equivalent discipline, as per earlier classifications of sciences) and/or in the domain of social sciences, in the discipline of sociological sciences (or equivalent discipline, as per earlier classifications of sciences) or related disciplines;
• research and organisational experience in preparation and implementation of major research projects (scientific or commercial);
• experience in the area of “Human-technology cooperation” in at least one of the following scopes:

• virtual reality and distance learning;
• control of devices with the senses;
• interface usability research
• fluency in English;

Selection processCandidates interested in participating in the competition are asked to submit the following documents: * CV with information about academic and organizational achievements in the period of the last 5 years (list of publications, information on conferences attended, information on managing or taking part in national and international projects including details about the tasks conducted by the applicant);

• a research plan;
• Information on research plans for upcoming years and their links to the Institute profile in the area of human-technology cooperation.

Applications should be submitted by e-mail at by 13 February 2025 and marked “Adiunkt – Informatyka/Socjologia”.Job interviews are scheduled to be held between: 17 and 19 February 2025.The competition will comprise two phases. In the first phase, the Commission will conduct an initial assessment of candidates based on the documents submitted.
