- conducting research in the disciplines of economics and finance and management and quality sciences, particularly in the field of international integration,
- teaching within the scope of activities of the Department of European Studies,
- participating in organisational and administrative work related to the preparation of grant applications, new research concepts and the content and methodology of teaching classes.

- PhD degree or PhD hab. assigned to the field of social sciences (economics and finance, law, international relations, economic and social geography and spatial management, political and administrative sciences, management and quality sciences)
- completion of a course in pedagogical qualification,
- knowledge of English at least at B2 level,
- knowledge of Polish at level C2,
- demonstrating academic achievement in the field of the degree, as well as in the field of international integration, development economics, international relations ((with a total point value of not less than 20 points, included in the year of publication in the list of publications or in the list of scientific journals and peer-reviewed proceedings of international conferences published by the minister of the minister responsible for higher education), the sum of which is at least three and the total point value of at most three unit shares amount to at least 70 points, or the sum is at least two and these two unit shares filled with are journal articles of at least 70 points each or level 2 monographs, the scientific editing of such monographs, or chapters in such monographs),
- winning as a PI/ coordinator or investigator/team member of a scientific or educational grant or project or participation in at least one such a grant or project
- participation in international scientific or educational activities,
- demonstrating organizational achievements consisting in participation in organizational work related to scientific or teaching activities,
- possession of specific knowledge or skills or particular qualifications relevant to research or teaching activities,
- fulfilling the conditions specified in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2023, item 742, as amended
