• meeting the conditions set out in Art. 113 in the Act of July 20, 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 742, as amended) and the Statute of the University of Warsaw (Resolution No. 443 of the Senate of the University of Warsaw of June 26, 2019 , Monitor item 190);
• Ph.D. degree;
• knowledge of the history and contemporary history of the Caucasus and/or Central Europe;
• knowledge of the cultural, natural, linguistic aspects of the Caucasus and/or Central Asia;
• fluency in Polish, Russian and English (or a second Western congress language);
• knowledge of one of the Caucasian and/or Asian languages;
• unblemished reputation in terms of personal attitude as a researcher and academic teacher;
• declaring the University of Warsaw as the first place of employment.
