Offer DescriptionDEAN OF THE FACULTY OF CONTROL, ROBOTICS AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERINGPOZNAN UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGYannounces a competition forthe position of: assistant professor in a group of didactic professionals – 1 full-time postin the field of Natural Sciences,,in the Institute of MathematicsEligibility criteria:1. A doctoral degree in the discipline of mathematics.2. Achievements, including:a) authorship or co-authorship of the script, manual;b) achievements related to the implementation of modern forms and methods of education;c) development of new curricula;d) positive opinions of students in the course survey process.3. Completion of a pedagogical course.4. Extensive teaching experience in teaching mathematics, also in English, in particular statistics and data analysis, differential equations and numerical methods.5. An excellent command of the Polish language.6. An excellent command of the English language.7. Organizational experience, in particular related to preparing and coordinating directions of study, including international academic exchange.8. Knowledge of programming languages, including: Python, R, SQL.9. Knowledge of machine learning issues.Employment based on a contract for the period of one year.Those entering the competition are required to submit the following documents in the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Control, Robotics and Electrical Engineering, Poznan University of Technology, ul. Piotrowo 3a (room 20), 60-965 Poznań:– an application to the Rector of Poznan University of Technology,– a CV,– photos,– a personal applicant data sheet,– an employee personal data sheet,– a qualification questionnaire (Appendix 1 to the Personnel Policy at Poznan University of Technology),– copies of diplomas (their originals to be submitted for inspection),– a copy of a pedagogical course certificate (its original to be submitted for inspection),– a record of their achievements including proofs of eligibility for the post of assistant professor,– a statement about their primary place of work (Appendix 2 to the Personnel Policy at Poznan University of Technology),– a statement complying with Article 113 of the Law on Higher Education (prawo o szkolnictwie wyższym i nauce) (Appendix 3 to the Personnel Policy at Poznan University of Technology),– a personal data clause for the purposes of data processing.Optional documents:– copies of employment certificates.Applications must be submitted by 11/02/2025.The competition will be adjudicated within 4 months of the date on which it is closed.Should no candidate obtain positive assessment from the competition committee or should there be no candidates, the Dean shall close the competition.
