- research work, applications for grants, publishing in international periodicals with a high allocation of points
- participation in academic activities and administrative work within the Institute of Humanities
- teaching, conducting classes in English
- participation in the administrative work of the Department of English Studies, participation in work related to student affairs (supervision of students, administrative work)
- availability and focus on academic work
Our expectations of candidates:
- possession of a doctoral degree or a post-doctoral degree in the humanities in the discipline of literary studies or linguistics (degree awarded no later than September 30, 2025)
- academic achievements and experience in conducting research, as well as research interests in the fields of descriptive, comparative, corpus, and computational linguistics; translation studies; sociolinguistics; glottodidactics; or Anglophone literary studies (literary history and criticism, critical theory, cultural studies, comparative literature)
- experience in university-level teaching
- readiness to teach classes on weekends
- proficiency in English

- Associate Professor: PLN 9 800 – 13 600 gross

Formal criteria:
- academic achievements: 50% of the final score
- teaching achievements: 25% of the final score
- organizational or practical achievements: 25% of the final score
