• PhD in juridical sciences;
• knowledge of European law with particular emphasis on substantive law of the European Union;
• ability to teach classes (lectures, seminars) European Law in Polish and English languages;
• proficient computer skills.

Specific RequirementsRequired: * Research experience evidenced by scientific publications in the area of European law;

• Teaching experience in the area of European law, with the particular focus on the substantive law of the European Union.

Prefered: * Experience in the field of national or international scientific cooperation;

• experience in applying and implementing research grants, financed both from domestic and foreign sources.

• scientific achievements: list of monographs, journal articles and other publications, indicating the publications along with a score resulting from the requirements for parametric evaluation, specified in the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education on the evaluation of the quality of scientific activity of 22 February 2019 r. (consolidated text, Dz.U. z 2022 poz. 661) in the area of the European law – total no more than 20 points:

publication:scientific publication (article, commentary, case comment) in the scientific journal from the list of journals with point allocated according to the Communication of the Minister of Science and Higher Education on the list of scientific journals and peer – reviewed international conference proceedings of Januarty 5th 2024 r.:– 2 points for a journal article up to 40 points,– 3 points for a journal article up to 70 points,– 5 points for a journal article above 70 pkt,Scientific monograph – 5 pointsOther scientific publication, a book chapter in the peer-reviewed, multi-athored scientific monograph- 2 pointsOther scientific publication (printed or published electronically in the originally online journal) – if the publication’ length is at least 0,5 of a standard publishing sheet, and was subject, during the publishing process, to the review by a scholar holding at least a PhD- 1 point * Editing the multi-authored peer-reviewed scientific monograph monograph- 2 pointsThe points indicated above are divided according to the percentage of the input of the applicant in the case of a co-authored or co-edited publication. • presentation of a vision statement of own scientific development – 0-20 points
• languages, including the knowledge of legal terminology 1-5 points
• proficient computer skills 0-2 points

Selection process

• Competition committee begins working no later than 14 days after the deadline for submission of documents.
• Formal evaluation of submitted proposals.
• Call to provide additional or missing documents if necessary.
• Selection of candidates for the interview stage.
• Interviews for candidates who meet the formal requirements.
• The committee has the right to request external reviews of candidates’ work or to ask candidates to conduct teaching assignments with an opportunity for student evaluation.
• The chair of the competition committee announces the results and informs the candidates. This information will include justification with a reference to candidates’ strengths and weaknesses. Submitted documents will be sent back to candidates.
