Offer DescriptionThe person employed as an assistant professor will conduct didactic classes (in Polish), as well as research in the field of application of statistical and econometric methods in economics and financeWhere to apply WebsiteRequirementsResearch Field Economics Education Level PhD or equivalentSkills/QualificationsThe competition is suitable for candidates who fulfill the requirements as described in the regulation dated 20th of July 2018 Higher Education and Science (Regulations from 2024, position 1571).Requirments:
- a PhD or postdoctoral degree in the field of social sciences in the discipline of finance, economics or economics and finance,
- several years of teaching experience at a university, including experience in promoting bachelor’s and master’s theses,
- scientific achievements in the discipline of economics and finance or related (documented by publications in peer-reviewed journals from the MNiSW list) from the last 5 years,
- knowledge of Polish: fluent in speech and writing (for foreigners),
- very good knowledge of English.
Specific RequirementsCandidates joining the competition are requested to submit the following
documents:
- application for employment to the Rector of the University of Rzeszów,
- scientific curriculum vitae (CV),
- personal questionnaire,
- summary of professional achievements,
- information on research, teaching and organizational achievements,
- list of publications,
- 2 opinions of professors or habilitated doctors about the candidate,
- candidate’s declaration that the University of Rzeszów will be his/her primary place of work,
- candidate’s declaration on meeting the conditions of art. 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2024, item 1571),
- confirmation or information on the level of English language proficiency,
- copies of documents confirming qualifications,
- other documents confirming achievements in scientific work listed in the open recruitment.
