  • Conducting classes in English on the subject of clinical psychology at the second degree programme, in particular on:
  • adult psychotherapy within a systemic, psychodynamic or EFT (Emotion Focused Therapy) approach
  • psychological diagnosis
  • Conducting classes at first degree programmes in English on educational and developmental psychology
  • Conducting classes at first degree programmes in English psychology (core courses e.g. Introduction to Psychology, Academic Skills, etc.)
  • Co-ordinating conducted classes in the course. Psychology Studies in English
  • Carrying out organisational tasks related to didactics (creation of syllabuses, archiving of student work, grading, meetings with students in the form of consultations/duty
  • Involvement in organisational work at the Psychology Studies in English course and the Faculty of Psychology in Warsaw
  • Participation in meetings of didacticians of Psychology Studies in English
  • Supervising internships (individual internships), supporting students in the development of practical skills within the framework of projects conducted at the Faculty
  • Taking care of the development of professional competences mainly through participation in internal trainings and workshops e.g. during the Teaching Competence Week
  • Collaborating as part of a team, jointly carrying out tasks and projects carried out by the Psychology Studies in English team

RequirementsResearch Field Psychological sciences » Other Education Level Master Degree or equivalentSkills/Qualifications

  • Possession of a doctoral degree in social sciences or humanities in the discipline of psychology or related fields
  • At least one year of teaching experience (teaching students and preparing teaching materials)
  • Fluency in English to enable teaching in this language
  • Fluency in Polish
  • Research interests
  • Willingness to work weekends
  • Active participation in national and international scientific conferences
  • Experience in popularisation of scientific knowledge
  • Experience in teaching in English
  • Awards and distinctions for teaching activities and teaching evaluations in previous places of employment
  • Teaching competencies evidenced by certificates or certificates of completion of courses or other forms of training to improve qualifications in teaching, training and workshops

Specific Requirements

  • Scientific publications in the field of clinical psychology AND social psychology
  • Participation in the implementation of national and international grants (as manager and/or contractor)
  • Awards and prizes for teaching and research activities
  • Experience in cooperation with business and the social environment
  • Experience in developing new educational programmes
  • Experience in teaching undergraduate and graduate seminars
