Offer DescriptionThe candidate will be employed at the Department of Legal Sciences at the Faculty of Law and Administration. The candidate’s research specialization and interests should include, among others: administrative law in terms of its systemic and material part, administrative and judicial-administrative proceedings, environmental protection law.Where to apply E-mail[email protected] WebsiteRequirementsResearch Field Juridical sciences Education Level PhD or equivalentSkills/Qualifications1. meet the requirements specified in the Act of July 20, 2018, Law on Higher Education and Science (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2023, item 742, as amended),2. have a command of Polish and English to the extent enabling conducting teaching classes,3. have at least an Assistant Professor’s (dr hab.) degree in social sciences in the discipline of legal sciences,4. have outstanding scientific achievements in the field of substantive administrative law or administrative and judicial-administrative proceedings, recognized in the national or international environment, including (all the following criteria must be met):A. authorship of at least 1 peer-reviewed scientific monograph or a series of scientific publications published in journals from the list of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education or in peer-reviewed materials from international conferences, which were included in the list prepared in accordance with the regulations issued pursuant to Art. 267 section 2 point 2 letter b of the Act and which have a significant impact on the development of the scientific discipline represented by the candidate,B. participating in the work of research teams implementing projects financed through domestic or foreign competitions,C. completing a total of at least three months of scientific internship in scientific centres, including foreign ones, or conducting scientific research or development work in cooperation with universities or scientific institutions, including foreign ones,D. active participation in national or international scientific conferences,E. citation of publications according to the bibliographic database required during the current evaluation of the quality of scientific activity,F. documented organizational achievements, including in the field of organizing scientific activities and documented improvement of professional competences,G. achievements in the field of training of scientific staff, including supervision or auxiliary supervision in at least one doctoral thesis,H. at least 10 years of research and teaching experience.Languages ENGLISH Level ExcellentLanguages POLISH Level GoodResearch Field Juridical sciences Years of Research Experience More than 10Additional InformationBenefitsThe university provides academic teachers with opportunities for professional development.Eligibility criteriaSubmission of the required documents: * application,

• history of previous employment (including information on scientific, teaching, organizational and practical achievements, professional achievements obtained outside higher education),

• copies of documents confirming education and professional qualifications,
• copies of other documents confirming that the candidate meets the competition requirements,
• a declaration by the candidate stating that in the event of full-time employment, University of Łomża will be the primary place of work,
• declaration of consent to the processing of personal data contained in a cover letter, CV or other attached documents – if these data include special categories of data referred to in Art. 9 section 1 GDPR or if the data is other than that included in the personal questionnaire and is made available on the applicant’s own initiative (Article 221a §1 and §3 and Art. 221b §1 of the Labor Code),
• consent to the processing of personal data for the purpose of their use in subsequent recruitment processes – if you wish to participate in subsequent recruitment processes conducted by University of Łomża for a period of 12 months from the end of the current recruitment process.
