  • Willingness to perform assigned functions and organizational tasks

at the Department * Involvement in organizational work at the Faculty of Psychology in Warsaw

  • Taking care of the development of teaching competencies through participation in internal trainings organized by both the department

and the University, e.g. during the Week of Teaching Competence * Developing original curricula for classes

  • Popularizing psychological knowledge
  • Performing teaching duties in full-time studies and part-time studies according to the schedule (teaching classes on selected weekdays

  • Possession of a doctoral degree in social sciences or humanities

in the discipline of psychology, and a master’s degree in psychology * Min. 1 year of experience in teaching at a university such as lectures, exercises, workshops or graduation seminars

  • Experience in preparing teaching materials and in developing new educational programs
  • Awards and honors for teaching activities and teaching evaluations

at previous places of employment * Teaching competencies confirmed by certificates or certificatesof completion of courses or other forms of training that improve qualifications in teaching, training and workshops * Experience in conducting trainings, workshops and trainings

  • Fluency in Polish
  • Computer proficiency and willingness to learn new applications
  • Willingness to teach also on weekends
  • Declaration of employment at SWPS University as the primary place of work
  • Willingness to teach in English will be an added advantage
  • Practical experience in clinical work welcome, with preference for diagnosis and treatment of addictions

  • CV with a list of scientific, teaching and organizational achievements (with direct reference to the eligibility criteria given above)
  • A scan of the document confirming the attainment of a doctoral degree and a master’s degree

Formal criteria

  • Scientific achievements -10% of the final assessment
  • Teaching achievements – 60% of the final assessment
  • Organisational and practical achievements – 30% of the final assessment
