Assistant, Product Integrity

Global Packs (Kipling, Eastpak, and Jansport), is seeking a Product Integrity Assistant to support its Product Integrity function. This role is based in Antwerp, Belgium.

As a Product Integrity Assistant, you will support and help steer processes and information flows to ensure products meet brand expectations, legal standards, and specific customer requirements. You will also support the Packs Warranty organization, particularly for Dutch-speaking customers. Although based in Belgium, the role operates within a global framework, involving regular collaboration with brand teams, sourcing, and operations organizations.

How You Will Make a Difference

Product Labelling & Packaging

• Support all product labelling initiatives (e.g., hangtags, care labels, warranty tags, CE labels, DPP, collaborations).
• Ensure compliance with global/regional legal and governmental obligations.
• Collaborate with brand teams (Marketing & Merchandising), Asia Product Supply, and Global Product Stewardship.

Guidelines & Reviews

• Maintain Brand Packaging & Labelling Guidelines Manuals.
• Advise brand teams based on these manuals.
• Review Line Lists to prevent conflicts in material content or packaging.

Certifications & Compliance

• Support certification processes for export/import into specific distributor markets (e.g., UAE) or key accounts (e.g., QVC).
• Assist Product Stewardship in initiating REACH screening and assessing size impact in case of chemical product failure.

Sustainability & Legal Support

• Collect data for sustainable and responsible brand requirements (e.g., Wordly Brand Retail Module, UK Packaging Waste, Polieco PE import, Ecologic Registration France).
• Create authentication reports for legal disputes.

Warranty Support

• Build monthly warranty reports.
• Support Benelux contacts for key accounts and end-consumers.

Reporting Structure

• Supervisor: Global Packs Product Integrity & Development Lead
• Peers: Global Packs Integrity & Warranty Supervisor, Product Development Teams, Marketing Teams

Skills & Qualifications

• A University Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Assistance or Management
• A few years of experience in the same or similar role, preferably in the fashion/accessory industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook; Power BI and PowerPoint are a plus
• Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken); French
  is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and task ownership
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• 100% service-minded attitude
