Job Title: Assistant Planner

The Role
As an Assistant Planner, you will:
* Assist in preparing and submitting planning applications, appeals, and supporting documents.
* Conduct research and gather evidence to support planning proposals.
* Monitor local planning policies, regulations, and changes to the planning framework.
* Attend site visits and client meetings to support senior planners.
* Liaise with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
About You
We are looking for a candidate who:
* Holds a degree in Town Planning, Geography, Urban Studies, or a related field.
* Has a keen interest in planning and development, with some relevant experience (internships, placements, or 6-12 months in a planning role preferred).
* Possesses excellent communication, research, and report-writing skills.
* Is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a team environment.
* Is working towards or interested in pursuing RTPI accreditation.
