Offer DescriptionCracow University Of Technology announces the open competition for the position of assistant lecturer in the Department of Applied Computer Science. Period of employement: 01 December 2024 to 30 September 2025 with the possibility of extension.Scope of tasks:

• teaching activities in the scope specified as the number of class hours, in accordance with the rules set out in the Working Regulations of the Cracow University of Technology,
• consultations with students,
• preparing teaching materials for classes, conducting exams and other forms of credit,
• participation in projects and organizational works of the Department,
• participation in scientific and didactic seminars,
• striving for personal development through participation in training,
• other work ordered by the direct supervisor.

• at least a Master or Master’s degree in Engineering ,
• significant achievements obtained during studies or previous professional work,
• professional teaching credentials or willing to obtain appropriate credentials within 1 year,
• knowledge in the area of project management, ​​IT project management, quality assurance system management, software testing, creating web applications, designing websites, enabling teaching at the academic level,
• documented knowledge of a foreign language (preferably English) and Polish at a level enabling teaching.

Additional requirements:

• thaving at least a master’s degree or a master’s degree in engineering, equivalent or higher,
• having achieved significant achievements during studies or in previous professional work,
• having pedagogical preparation or supplementing it in the first year of employment,
• knowledge in the area of ​​IT project management, quality assurance system management, software testing, creating web applications, designing websites, enabling conducting didactic classes at an academic level,
• documented knowledge of a foreign language (preferably English) and Polish at a level enabling conducting didactic classes.
