Duties and responsibilities related to the Assistant Human Resources Manager role

  • Manage employee relations cases, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining positive work relationships

  • Lead recruitment efforts, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and facilitating the onboarding process

  • Handle HR administration tasks, including performance management, payroll processing, and day-to-day employee relations

  • Foster colleague recognition and engagement initiatives to enhance workplace morale and productivity

  • Conduct monthly payroll previews to ensure compliance with regulatory standards throughout the year

  • Coordinate internal communication efforts and organize social events to promote a cohesive work culture

  • Drive ad hoc projects aimed at delivering innovative solutions that demonstrate our commitment to supporting our colleagues

Working hours are generally Monday to Friday, office hours, although you may need to work some evenings and weekends and particularly attend colleague social events.

About you

  • Previousexperience in similar roles within the hospitality industry isa must

  • You will be passionate about working with people and maximizing their potential

  • You willpossessa solid background in UK law and employee relations, withpreviousexperiencedemonstratingproficiencyin this area.

  • Thrive in high-pressure situations and excel at meeting tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrate professionalism and empathetic communication skills when interacting with colleagues at all levels, contributing positively to teamwork and collaboration.

  • Ideally you will p ossess strong computer skills, essential for effectively managing various HR tasks and projects.
