This is a great opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to join a truly global organization and rapidly develop your career within a multinational and dynamic environment.
Major Tasks & Responsibilities:
Management of the accounting team.
Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost reduction opportunities and drive initiatives to promote efficient and cost effective operations.
Proactively communicate with his/her team to ensure continuous awareness and understanding of policies and regulations.
Audit proof of cash and fixed asset reconciliation
Contribute actively to Profit and Loss statement (PnL) preparation with the Finance Controller for regional reporting submission
File PnL reporting
Prepare external financial statements for external audit
Plan external legal audit intervention
Prepare all documentation as required for external and internal audits
File tax returns to authorities and work with the Finance Controller and experts on any tax issues
Deal with any risk areas identified for internal control
Assist as back-up to credit controller duties
Control payroll and processing
Administrative tasks ; filing banking, insurance, legal documents
What do you bring to this challenge?
Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree
Preferably a CPA (or Austrian/Slovakian equivalent) or the ambition to obtain such
5 + years of Accounting and Finance experience in Austria and/or Slovakia (preferably in the Global Logistics Industry).
Proven and strong experience in a financial/accounting role.
MUST HAVE: Either GERMAN or SLOVAKIAN NATIVE Language or C2 , English and GERMAN at MINIMUM B2/C1
MUST HAVE: High level of AUSTRIAN TAX and regulatory knowledge or
Alternatively High knowledge of SLOVAKIAN tax and regulations
Understanding of compliance and internal controls.
UGB & preferably US GAAP experience .
Advanced in Microsoft Office, including Excel Formulas and Pivot Tables.
Proven leadership attitude and skills.

Payment according to the collective agreement is at least a monthly gross salary of 3.130,60 bis 3.810,90 EUR (C1/D1- depending on experience and qualifications) – overpayment possible, depending on experience and qualifications.
