Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Facilities Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers a competitive salary of up to GBP40,000 and includes the flexibility to work remotely for 2 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the day-to-day management of facilities operations.
* Coordinate maintenance and repair activities to ensure the facility’s optimal performance.
* Oversee health and safety compliance, ensuring all regulations are met.
* Manage vendor relationships and service contracts.
* Assist in budgeting and financial management for the facilities department.
* Support the Facilities Manager in project planning and execution.
* Handle administrative tasks related to facility management.
Requirements
* Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work 2 days remotely per week.
