As Assistant Director of Leisure Sales, your role is pivotal in fostering business growth and executing sales strategies tailored to the leisure segment. Serving as a brand ambassador, you’ll collaborate closely with our GSO network and leisure partners to maximise opportunities and uphold our esteemed reputation. Reporting to the Director of Sales, your main responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Job DescriptionDevelop strong, secure and productive business relations, by achieving leisure rooms’ revenues targets in line with the S&M budget.Positive communication of the hotel image to existing and potential customer at all times.Stay well-versed in hotel offerings, rates, and promotions, actively promoting our services and amenities.Identify periods of high demand and implement targeted offers to specific markets, coordinating peak booking campaigns.Conduct thorough market analysis to recommend tactics and maintain our competitive edge.Drive leisure sales through various channels, including wholesalers, retailers, and consortia.Conduct site visits, familiarization trips, as needed.Represent the resort at trade shows, exhibitions, and sales calls.Contribute to the development of sales action plans, sales meetings, and special packages.Ensure accurate and timely submission of administrative reports, such as sales call schedules and month-end reports.Collaborate with the Director of Sales to explore new markets and prepare compelling proposals.Maintain comprehensive CRM records to support sales activities reporting.Participate in weekly sales and revenue meetings, offering insights and tactical promotions.Oversee proposal management within 24 hours, coordinating with the reservations department for timely responses.Uphold departmental and hotel standard operating procedures.Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities, nurturing relationships with key stakeholders.

Foster strong relationships with Accor GSO and other industry partners, such as Convention Bureau, or local administrationsMentor and share expertise with the leisure sales team.Ensure consistently high levels of guest satisfaction, personally attending to guest needs.Utilize CRM daily to enhance best practices and manage assigned portfolio.Foster cross-departmental communication to address guest feedback effectively.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Strong understanding of luxury market.
  • Fluent proficiency in both Spanish and English.

  • Effectively deal with guests and other team members.
  • Experience with Opera preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to complete work within given deadlines.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor degree in Hotel Management, preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in leisure sales within a luxury hotel or resort is required.
