And that’s the kind of work we want to be part of.We have an opportunity for a Site Finance Analyst who supports the Head of Finance at the Verviers site.Key responsibilities:

• Support the site and Business Unit in reaching short-and long-term goals by providing insightful financial analysis
• Monitor, analyze and report financial performance and support in identifying/reviewing potential counter measures

• Support or lead in coordinating and presenting financial results to various Business Partners (Financial Council)
• Support in business cases, ad hoc analysis
• Support/lead monthly closing activities
• Support annual budgeting process and long term strategic planning with plant leadership
• A point of contact towards Corporate, GBSO and external auditors in accounting, internal controls and audit questions for the area of responsibility
• Fulfill governmental reporting requirements
• Ensure compliance with all Group policies, especially MAM, FAM
• Ensure the balance sheet is correct (classification, correction, cleaning, control some processes with GBSO, mitigate some risk accounts)
• Capex : Follow the compliance
• ICS : Ensure Internal controls and review
• Ensure Structure in Sap : Analytical accounting
• Perform other duties as assigned

Key requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters in in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar
• 1-2 years of prior experience in financial analysis/ reporting
• Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and SAP skills
• Fluent in French and English
• Solid analytical skills and ability to manage communication with range of stakeholders
• Proactive in search for best practice processes and ability to prioritize
