We confidently and enthusiastically build sustainable relationships with our employees.Will you strengthen our Towage team in Rotterdam as Assistant Consultant Towage (English) for 40 hours a week?Our Offshore team in the Netherlands consists of six colleagues. You will also work a lot with colleagues from our Polish and Croatian branch offices. In this role you will work closely with Demi and Katja. Demi has been part of the TOS family for a long time, and Katja has worked at TOS for a few years now. Our Towage team has grown significantly, in part because of Demi and Katja. They maintain close contact with our customers and quickly know what to do to get the right people on board. They are now looking for a colleague with strong communication and administrative skills who can ensure that all the necessary information is accurately collected and is complete. This will ensure that the entire process goes smoothly after the position is filled.IS THIS JOB MADE FOR YOU?The Towage team works for large international tugboat owners. For one customer we are the main supplier and for another we only supply people for specific positions. We support our customers by being available, working hard on finding suitable solutions, and communicating clearly.The Consultants in the team maintain contact with the customer and arrange the placement of a seafarer. This is where your work comes in. You need to monitor progress and clarify all the details. You again check all the seafarer’s certificates to see if any further training is required. You collect all the information so that your colleague in Operational Support can submit the right employment contract with the right amounts, insurances, and conditions. You make sure that the administrative process goes according to plan and that invoices can be sent quickly and correctly to our customers. All of this comes about through good collaboration and clear communications.It is a varied and dynamic job! Working in the maritime sector involves a continuous flow of new information and ever changing situations. You never know up front what your working day will be like. As an Assistant Consultant Towage (English) you are eager to take on challenges, dare to take on new work, and are not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them.

IS THIS YOUR PROFILE?In order to succesfully bring your working day to an end, you recognize yourself in the following profile:

• Bachelor’s (HBO) working and thinking level;
• Several years of experience in a service-oriented and/or commercial environment;
• Drive to learn and develop;
• Skills to plan and organise your work efficiently;
• A keen eye for detail;
• Pro-active work attitude and problem-solving skills, sometimes outside office hours;
• Fluent in spoken and written English; knowledge of the Dutch language is a plus.
