Offer DescriptionWroclaw University of Science and Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Design and Research of Machines and Vehicles (K57W10D07) is looking for a candidate for the position of research and didactic assistant in the field of engineering and technical sciences, in the scientific discipline of mechanical engineering, with the ability to use CAD software: Autodesk Inventor, NX, CATIA; FEM software: LS-DYNA, MADYMO, HYPERMESH, NX, ABAQUS and V-SIM. Has knowledge of human biomechanics, head injuries and is acquainted with injury standards. The candidate should have knowledge from strength of materials to analyse the FEA results. The candidate should have experience in FEM calculations using dummies, e.g. Hybrid HIII. Candidates are expected to be members of scientific research and publish their results, participate in teaching activities, and be involved in the organizational work of the Department and the Faculty.RequirementsResearch Field Engineering » Mechanical engineering Education Level Master Degree or equivalentSkills/Qualifications

Specific Requirements

• Master of Science in the field of Mechanics and Machine Building (preferred English division)
• predispositions for didactic and research work
• ability to conduct didactic classes in Polish and English,
• ability to prepare didactic materials,
• good knowledge of English
• diligence, scrupulousness and ability to work in a team,
• carry out research under supervision;
• have the ambition to develop knowledge of research methodologies and discipline;
• have demonstrated a good understanding of a field of study;
• have demonstrated the ability to produce data under supervision;
• be capable of critical analysis, evaluation and synthesis of new and complex ideas;
• be able to explain the outcome of research (and value thereof) to research colleagues.
