Location & Department: Italy, Medical Devices Supply Chain, Pratica di Mare (Rome)

The Italy Medical Device E2E Supply Chain organization is evolving to become more and more a critical partner of the commercial organization to deliver strong business results.

The external environment, the customer needs and expectations are changing at an unprecedented pace and the supply chain has proven to be a critical business leaver to beat competition and provide excellent customer experience.

You will hold a key position accountable for the development and execution of the Assets Management roadmap aimed at building the necessary capabilities to support the business in a customer centric, compliant, and profitable fashion.

The scope will include regional as well as country processes and activities, within and across the different franchises. 

You will work in a highly dynamic environment with multiple connections within and outside the country and across different levels of management with relevant local and regional exposure.

This role is a great step in accelerating a career to senior roles in Supply Chain at local and regional level.

You will be a member of the Italy E2E Supply Chain team and report directly to the Italy E2E Supply Chain Director.

Major Responsibilities

– Lead the 2 legs of Assets Management: Inventory/Fixed Assets Cycle Count and Assets Optimization initiatives.

– Orchestrate the E2E SC Strategy & Capabilities initiatives.

– Ensure flowless execution of the core Assets Management processes in line with JnJ guidelines and SOx compliance requirements.

– Drive the Continuous Improvement agenda with a special focus on Automation, Strategy & Capabilities and Digitization opportunities.

– Work in close collaboration with the IBP Plan Leads to ensure an optimized Investments plan especially in the DPS business.

– Together with the Commercial Operations Lead, support the correct implementation of the Assets management processes in the field.

– Lead the execution of the roadmap to deliver the required capability working closely with other countries and regional organization.

– Ensure the effective implementation of the Assets Management processes in the new ERP environment.

– Lead the Assets Management priorities execution and monitoring progress via well-defined and established KPI’s.

– Be the process owner of the key local Assets governance meetings, i.e.:

o L1 quarterly and L2 monthly meetings

o Assets Management Steering Committee

o Continuous Improvement Initiatives

– You will be responsible for setting and communicating Assets Management performance goals (KOI and supporting KPIs), monitoring the performance and leading the continuous improvement process and action plans to reach the goals.

– For delivering these objectives, you will need to build solid partnership and end-to-end collaboration with key stakeholders: local commercial, local, and regional supply chain, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, etc. – to ensure their contribution is focused on the End-to-End goals and respective outcomes.

– Ensure the required capabilities and development needs of the team are addressed.

– Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.
