Location: Northampton (Free Parking)

At Able Personnel, we are recruiting on behalf of a respected and growing training provider for a passionate Electrical Installation Tutor / Assessor to join their expanding team based in Northampton.

This is a full-time, permanent position, delivering high-quality electrical education and support to apprentices. You will play a vital role in helping learners develop practical skills, confidence, and employability.

What you will be doing:

– Deliver engaging electrical installation training to apprentices for level 3 electrical installation (5357) for 18th edition wiring, advanced craft certificate. You can have experience of 16th or 17th edition for this role.

– Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of learners

– Assess progress and adapt teaching methods to ensure effective learning outcomes

– Provide one-to-one or small group

– Maintain accurate records of learner progress and attendance

– Carry out on-site visits to review and assess apprentices in the workplace

– Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages participation and confidence

– Collaborate with colleagues to support learners with special educational needs

What we are looking for:

– Proven experience in teaching or tutoring or assessing, especially with apprentices

– You must be either assessor or teacher qualified

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills

– Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping learners succeed

Salary and benefits:

– Salary £34,000 to £41,000 per annum

– 37 hours per week – Start at 8.30am and finish at 5pm

– Company pension

– 25 Days holiday + stats per annum
