ROLE – Assembly Technician

LOCATION – Reading

TERM – Permanent

SALARY- £23,000 – £29,000 per annum, dependent on experience

My client designs and manufactures bespoke products in the Motorsport industry, and they are looking to take on an Assembly Technician. This is a permanent position, based in Basingstoke.

The Assembly Technician will ideally have the following attributes:

– Ideally be experienced building high precision products
– Keen interest in Motorsport and Automotive industries
– Knowledge of pipes, hoses, valves, pumps and similar equipment would be beneficial
– Mechanical background in a workshop environment
– Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
– Team player

The Assembly Technician role will involve:

– Mechanical assembly of a variety of products and equipment
– Pressure testing fluid transfer products
– Working to project specifications and deadlines
– Participating in technical training
– Working to procedures and instructions
– Communicating with different departments to resolve technical issues
