Apply now as our new Assembly Specialist!The positionAs Assembly Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our medical devices production. It is a highly visible position working closely with the senior management group, and with stakeholders of all levels. Initially, you will be based between site Høje Taastrup and Odense with the plan to be based at Odense fully.In this exciting position, your broad range of responsibilities will include:

  • Taking charge of complex technical and quality deviation tasks, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to mitigate future occurrences.
  • Driving improvements in the design of assembly equipment, working closely with engineering teams.
  • Playing a consultative role towards DMD in the design of plastic components for known or potential devices and offering expert inputs to update specifications that align with assembly requirements and quality standards.
  • Educating and mentoring colleagues and business partners on assembly processes, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and best practices, fostering a culture that encourages continuous learning and improvement, enabling colleagues to become more knowledgeable and proficient.

  • Hold a degree in engineering or any other relevant field.
  • Several years’ experience working at specialist level with production assembly lines. It is advantageous from the pharmaceutical industry, but we welcome applications from those who have relevant experience from other highly regulated industries.
  • Have a strong understanding of GMP and medical devices production.
  • Demonstrate a technical proficiency in assembly processes and equipment troubleshooting. Pack and fill experience is also interesting to us!
  • Are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Finally, you have a proactive approach to process improvement with the ability to provide clear instructions and feedback.About the departmentNovo Nordisk is significantly increasing its manufacturing capacity across all areas to serve more patients in the coming years. Our department is working to expand the capacity of our Finished Product manufacturing. The highly automated facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is flexible to accommodate new processes and products. It will expand our capacity to serve more people living with serious chronic diseases including rare diseases.
