As an Assembly Operative, you’ll work within a busy manufacturing environment where the standard of your work directly contributes to the quality of products leaving the site. 

You’ll be involved in hands-on production work including assembling components, preparing materials, trimming leather and fabrics and checking your own work against the required specifications.

Your responsibilities as Assembly Operative

– Assemble and trim seats accurately to drawing specifications
– Use manual and electric tools safely to complete production tasks
– Check completed work to ensure required quality standards are achieved
– Prepare materials ready for the production process
– Trim leather and fabric components accurately
– Identify quality issues before products progress through production

What we’re looking for in a Assembly Operative

– Previous assembly, manufacturing or production experience
– Experience using manual and electric tools
– Ability to work accurately from drawings or specifications
– Experience with trimming, fabrics, leather or similar materials would be advantageous
– Understanding of manufacturing quality control processes

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am–5:00pm; Friday, 8:00am–1:30pm.
