Job Type: Full-Time

Shift: Night Shift

Schedule: Mon-Thurs 9pm-7am

Pay Range: Starting pay $20.50/hr, Top pay $24.05/hr.

Position Summary:

Timken is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembly and Inspection employee to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products through careful assembly and thorough inspection. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

-Perform assembly operations according to established procedures and guidelines.

-Conduct inspections of products and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards.

-Utilize precision measuring tools such as gauges, calipers, and micrometers to verify conformance to specifications.

-Identify and report any defects or discrepancies in the assembly and inspection process.

-Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of work performed.

-Collaborate with team members and management to achieve production goals.

-Follows all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. 

-Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced in assigned production area.

-Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Basic Qualifications:

-High School Diploma or GED

-18 years of age of older.

-Must be eligible to work in the US.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

-Experience in an assembly and inspection role, within a manufacturing environment.

-Basic understanding of quality control principles and practices.

-Proficiency in using measurement tools and equipment.

-Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and discrepancies.

-Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
