30 Assemblers / Packers needed in Morley LS27 to start early feb
PERMANENT ROLE
Pay rate: GBP11.44 per hour
Hours: 7.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday
Start date: End of January
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Assembler/Packers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling products such as display racks and packing them for shipment.
The display racks are for a leading retail company in the country
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a warehouse environment. You will utilise hand tools to ensure high-quality assembly and packaging of products.
Duties
* Assemble components using hand tools according to specifications.
* Ensure that all assembled products meet quality standards before packing.
* Pack finished products securely for shipment, ensuring they are protected during transit.
* Maintain an organised workspace, keeping tools and materials in order.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
* Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed to ensure optimal performance.
* Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
* Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is preferred but not essential.
* Familiarity with hand tools is an advantage.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
