Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst – Whitley Bay

Location: Whitley Bay / Newcastle upon Tyne
Salary: GBP33,500

A reputable asbestos consultancy is seeking a dual-qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join its North East team, covering Whitley Bay, Newcastle and surrounding areas. The role provides a genuine balance between surveying and analytical work, offering consistency, variety, and long-term career stability within a well-supported operation.

Key Responsibilities

Completing Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys in accordance with HSG264
*

Carrying out air monitoring, four-stage clearances, leak testing, smoke testing and reassurance sampling
*

Working across commercial and mixed-use properties
*

Producing clear, accurate asbestos survey and analytical reports
*

Ensuring all work complies with current legislation, HSE guidance and UKAS standards

Candidate Profile

BOHS P402, P403 and P404 (or equivalent qualifications)
*

Experience in a dual Surveyor / Analyst role, or keen to develop into one
*

Solid understanding of asbestos regulations and compliance
*

Able to manage workload independently and professionally
*

Full UK driving licence
