Area Sales Representative
Salary: £50,000 + bonus
Location: Leicester
Hours: Monday to Friday days
Company Car + fuel card

My client is a global supplier of Powered Access machinery and due to their continued success they are now looking for a skilled workshop engineer to join their ever growing team. Experience in the Powered Access sector would be advantageous.

The Role

– Identify new business opportunities through market research as an Area Sales Representative
– Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline through networking, cold calling and events
– Promote and sell vehicle-mounted hydraulic platforms to a wide customer base
– Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and close sales to meet targets
– Provide post-sale support and maintain long-term customer relationships
– Work closely with marketing and technical teams to stay aligned on products and trends
– Maintain accurate CRM records of sales activity as a Area Sales Representative

What We’re Looking For

– Proven experience in a Area Sales Representative or B2B sales role
– Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
– Self-motivated, results-driven and comfortable working independently
– Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
– Willingness to travel extensively within the region
– Full UK driving licence

Desirable

– Experience within construction equipment, plant or machinery sales
– Knowledge of hydraulic or vehicle-mounted equipment
– Established industry contacts
