Are you a social media shark? Can you write a post that catches your eye? Can you boost content and grow our social media? Then you might be our new super cool social media volunteer.In Red Cross Holbæk, we want to help as many as possible, as much as possible. We must have enough hands for our work and communicate well and often about all the offers we have in our area, so that those who need our help can get it. The premise for us to be able to help is that we are known and visible in our area.We are building a team to lift our communication to new heights and this is where you come into the picture. Because we need a skilled and committed volunteer to manage our social media, so that we can communicate all our good stories from our everyday life in the Red Cross well and effectively on Facebook, Instagram and other social media. Your task will largely be to ensure a good flow of relevant content on our social channels with a focus on creating knowledge about all our work in the local area of Holbæk. In addition, we want even more people to follow our pages – so you must want the pages to grow.You will have direct contact with a consultant at our secretariat in Copenhagen, the Landskontoret, from where you will get plenty of help and support for your work as well as opportunities for competence development, advice and networking with other volunteer communicators in the Red Cross.You might have 2-3 hours a week for volunteer work – maybe a little more, maybe a little less. It is not decisive. The most important thing is that you have the desire and courage to volunteer, that you can see yourself in the role of our social media volunteer in Red Cross Holbæk and that you are passionate about communication, volunteering and social work.We would very much like you to:

• Feel like and have the courage to give it gas on our social media
• Has knowledge of social media and knows what works
• Can make our social media grow and reach even more people
• Would like to work in a dedicated team of volunteers working with communications
• Passionate about helping vulnerable Danes and others who need support
• Would like to volunteer a few hours a week
• Values community and team spirit

You do not need to be trained in communication or social media, but you must have the desire and interest to work with Facebook, Instagram, etc. The Red Cross national office helps you dress for the task to the extent you need.This is what you get out of it:

• You will become part of the department’s communication team and gain experience with communication in the broadest sense.
• You will have the opportunity to expand your communication skills and communication skills.
