We support Danish and global Food and Beverage companies with a wide range of food plant design, consultancy, and sustainable development to help them meet their business goals.Our TeamThe international Food & Beverage Team at NIRAS consists of a large team of almost 200 employees, of which around 90 are located in Denmark in offices in Allerød, Aarhus, and Odense. The team aims to become the best at delivering sustainable food & beverage facility designs and operations.We aim to produce high-quality projects for our customers in close cooperation with more than 3000 colleagues at NIRAS. It is an inspiring environment where no two days are the same, and our work is carried out with professionalism and great team spirit.The team works from offices in Denmark, the UK, Holland and Poland. Our head office is in Allerød, Denmark. The position will involve 20-50 days of traveling as a large part of our business is with clients abroad. • You have 5 to 10 years of relevant experience
• Development of sustainable solutions for the industry
• A high focus on water treatment and savings in the context of F&B industries
• Review of customer water utilization, local impact, and sustainability
• Design and optimization of Water Treatment and Wastewater Treatment Plants, including internal water solutions, e.g., ion exchangers, membrane and disinfection systems
• Develop Master Plans and Concept Designs for Food & Beverage plant expansions
• Utility calculations and equipment sizing within Water & Wastewater treatment systems, etc.
• Preparation of tender documents and evaluation of tenders for new plant equipment for greenfield or brownfield projects of all sizes
• On-site supervision and assistance during installation or commissioning
• Engagement in sales and network activities. We expect that you will use your existing network and relations to actively contribute to the growth of our Customers, NIRAS and Society.

What are we looking for?At a personal level, it is important to be a team player that can communicate with colleagues and clients at all levels; and want to share your knowledge, skills, and ideas with others.

• You have a relevant engineering degree and have worked within water, food & beverage, or consulting industry.
• You have good analytical skills and experience with projects as well as some operational experience
• You possess good written and spoken English skills – preferably combined with one other primary language
• You are familiar with Microsoft Office, as a minimum Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint, and preferably Microsoft Project
