A well-established and design-led architectural practice based in Harrogate is seeking an Architectural Technologist to join its growing residential team. The practice delivers high-quality bespoke homes, extensions, and residential developments, with a strong emphasis on buildability, detailing and technical excellence. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative studio environment on a varied portfolio of residential projects across Yorkshire and beyond.

The Architectural Technologist will play a key role in the technical delivery of residential schemes, working from developed design through to construction stages. This position is suited to someone with at least two years’ experience in residential architecture who enjoys producing detailed technical information and coordinating with consultants and contractors. The role is studio-based in Harrogate, with flexible working available following the successful completion of probation.

Daily Duties

* Producing detailed technical drawings and construction packages
* Developing designs through technical and delivery stages
* Coordinating with consultants, contractors, and statutory bodies
* Assisting with building regulations submissions and technical approvals
* Responding to site queries and supporting project delivery
* Producing and managing drawings using Archicad

Ideal Candidate

* Architectural Technologist with a minimum of several years’ residential experience
* Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
* Experience using Archicad preferred
* Based within 40 minutes of Harrogate
* Organised, methodical, and able to manage multiple projects
* Confident communicator with a collaborative, problem-solving approach
